Early 1980's Paintings

Paintings based upon the urban landscape. The images play with lighting, color and visions of the city.

Mall Series 1983-1987

These paintings are an emotional response to the urban city center of the late 20th century. looking at the ubiquitous shopping mall and all its connotations. These are large semi-abstract works with very strong color and bold design.

Moon Paintings 1987-1990

This series documents a major change in my life. They are abstract and mysterious and reference the moon’s changing phases as a metaphor.

Dream Drawings and Paintings 1994-1997

These paintings and drawings are inspired from my dreams. Elements of the real world are combined with my nocturnal visions.
